I started my journey into motherhood a little earlier in life than
anticipated. Not too long after my 18th birthday I gave birth to my
first love. Fast forward several years & I now have 3 beautiful
boys. I'm married. I'm a stay-at home mom. My Husband recently joined
the military, so now I'm a jetsetter (haha.) I'm just tripping through
life, trying to hang on to my sanity.
My second son is
the one who made it possible for me to have met some of the best
friends I have ever had. Starting from a major baby site, it became a
group of a group of a group, or something like that. Viola! I found
myself an amazing group of mothers who are all different ages, with
different parenting styles, likes & dislikes. I have developed
amazing relationships with these beautiful women. I love them. I trust
them. I never imagined I would depend on people I didn't know, "in real
life." I do know them in real life though. This is real life.
We
want to share our experiences with others. I think we can show the
world that people who do things (sometimes vastly) differently can all
show respect for each other.

A little about ME
Hi! I am a working mom of twins plus one! My one is 2 1/2 now and the one that brought me together with these 30 wonderful women. Becoming a first time mom is stressful, exciting, and overwhelming. When That first pregnancy test popped up positive I was overwhelmed and nervous and had tons of questions so I went to a popular mommy forum looking for answers. I never realized it would ultimately end in me meeting some of the best friends I could imagine from all across the country. Fast forward to a couple years later and I now have 3 month old twins added to the craziness. Working full time, trying to raise these kids to be independent, confident little people while making sure they know they are loved and cared for can be difficult at times but I have had support from some amazing people along the way making me feel like I can get through any day no matter how difficult. From birth plans to potty training we may all vary drastically on our opinions and practices but I have never felt so supported and loved by people who may think I'm doing everything the complete wrong way. ;-) Can't wait to share some craziness that we deal with on an every day basis.

Greetings Internet Warriors!
A brief introduction to me and why I believe in this blog. I am a mom. On top of that, I have a wonderful husband, a great job, and lots of interests and hobbies. Five years ago, I joined a lot of internet forums to help me navigate this thing called motherhood. I frequented all of the big group sites trying to learn how to do everything. I found good advice, well intentioned advice, and crazy advice. Since I was so new to mommyhood, I didn't speak up. Fast forward 3 years and I was at it again with having another child. This time, I was active. I had thoughts, advice ( well intentioned ), and some experience. Fast forward through those internet groups and I met over 30 women that I have fallen in love with. I couldn't believe that I could open up to people I had never met, but I was curious and ravenous for others to see ME and to talk to ME about these crazy things we do as mothers. I was in need of more than group anonymous posts. I was in need of the village that I didn't have locally. These women come from across the country. They have all ages, sizes of families, career choices, relationship status', and parenting styles. Yet, we had the same need. To be seen and heard. For who we are. Of course we don't do things the same. Of course, we have different challenges with our littles. But we are together in this saga. We listen and we help. It's great to have these women as friends. Some of our stuff needs to be private, but some of these situations and issues need to be shared. Talked about. Learned from. And mostly, laughed about with the knowingness of being a mommy and "done that". Please join us in our quest to fight the good fight of raising good people and the many ways that we do that.
